Some great news for our school this week as we have been notified of our ‘gold’ level award (highest level) in the Sport Scotland national school sport programme. This award is granted for 2023-2025.<\/p>\n

We have been busy gathering evidence and creating our action plan submission to the national agency for sport and their tiered award program which recognises a variety of aspects from PE curricular input, extra-curricular programmes, volunteer development, right through to our community sport link.<\/p>\n

‘The School Sport Award ‘ is funded by the National Lottery, and\u00a0is a national initiative designed to encourage schools to put our young people at the heart of decision making, planning and implementation of our extra-curricular school sport.\u00a0 The award also encourages sporting links between schools and the community on Arran, providing opportunities for young people to progress where possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
